RJ Ferguson, LPC-S

Hi, I’m RJ.

I’m a local East Texan. Like many here, my faith and family are central to who I am, and my work closely follows. Some of my greatest moments with others are when I get to help them connect more deeply to their story, feel more alive in their life and work, and show up more authentically each day.

Much of my work is with people who feel unseen, fragmented, or spiritually disillusioned — professionals, leaders, couples, and helpers who carry the weight of others yet rarely find a place to set down their own burdens. I know what it feels like to hold everything together for others while running on empty inside. My calling is to walk with you into those places of exhaustion, shame, or disconnection and help you rediscover safety, dignity, and belonging.

My approach draws from Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB), attachment theory, and trauma-informed care. I also integrate narrative therapy and faith-informed perspectives, which allows me to support clients at the complex intersections of story, soul, and neuroscience. Together, we’ll engage your mind, body, story, and soul — not just to manage symptoms, but to cultivate deeper wholeness.

In our work, I seek to create a safe and grounded space where you can talk about hard things, feel what’s been long avoided, and begin to notice the parts of you that still long for connection. Therapy with me is not about quick fixes — it’s about learning to live from the deepest place within you, where your story holds meaning and your humanity is honored.

This is the work I love most: helping people reclaim their voice, repair relationships, and live with resilience, hope, and belonging..
